MAC and other department store brands offer a wide variety of beautiful, highly pigmented lipsticks and liners. However, if you are looking for products with comparable quality that are considerably less expensive, try a drug store brand. Many of these lipsticks are also highly pigmented, creamy, and are super easy on the wallet. Wet n Wild is a personal favorite drugstore brand. My suggestion is to go for the less expensive brands while you experiment with new looks. That way if you just can't get with that flaming flamingo pink, you haven't sacrificed too much.
Once you find shades of lipsticks and liners that peek your interest, begin to work on a few different techniques. The method of application you use can make a dramatic difference in the finished look.
